Herban Living Bed & Breakfast Suite
Colonial Simplicity in the heart of
New Hampshire's Monadnock Region
Located in the classic scenery of the traditional New England countryside in the heart of New Hampshire's Monadnock Region, Herban Living Bed & Breakfast Suite takes you into the historic setting of the General Miller House of Temple, New Hampshire. Rich with history and romance, this traditional colonial farmhouse was originally built in 1760, and is surrounded by over 150 private acres of forest and farmland.

Over your morning coffee, you can enjoy a stroll through your own
secret garden filled with fresh herbs and ever-blooming perennials, or
venture out on a hike through the surrounding woods on one of the many
trails that traverse the surrounding woods and farmland. Or perhaps
you'd just like to curl up with a good book in front of the fireplace.
Minutes away in every direction you'll have access to the outdoor
splendor and serenity of Southern New Hampshire's famous Monadnock
region, celebrated by poets and writers such as Nathaniel Hawthorne (a
once frequent visitor to the General Miller House) and Henry David
Thoreau.
Hiking (all levels), biking, lake and river kayaking, cross-country
skiing, and outdoor adventures of all kinds and for all seasons abound,
set within pristine landscapes and rustic farmstead scenery of Southern
New England. And for the lucky Fall visitor, there's the unparalleled
splendor of New Hampshire's forests in peak foliage season.
Herban Living B&B is also less than 15 minutes away from
Peterborough, New Hampshire, with its numerous art galleries and shops,
like the Sharon Arts Gallery or the International Museum of Folk Art,
featuring local and international artists, designers and craftspeople.
You'll also find a delicious array of world-class dining experiences in
the area, such as Peterborough's Aqua Bistro Restaurant, or the Noone
Falls Cafe.
Your host, Lisa Beadoin...
